Genetics: Pure Leucistic BD
This is a pure leucistic male BD, it is completely white with no signs of coloration on its disc or tale. This leucistic BD has black eyes with a golden star, and does not have any albino genes. It has a short BD paddle tail, with 3 rows of spikes consistent with a traditional BD. Compared to albino rays or leucistic key rays, it has a very pure, matte shade of white and is extremely beautiful in any aquarium.
This ray would be great for advanced hobbyists who have extensive experience in keeping rays. It is a highly sought after collection piece as it is very rare and a beautiful addition to any aquarium. It is also great for any advanced hobbyist who is experimenting with leucistic blood and would like to add it to their breeding pool.

We give our rays a score based on a variety of factors including; position and size of spots, types of spots, compactness of spots, shape of disc, and finally the length and shape of the tail.

This score is given to each ray based on the heritage of the rays, we will consider the lineage of the rays from both its parents and for some rays, even their grandparents. We will look at the appearance, quality, and genetics, which will give insight into the rays possible growth and appearance when it grows up, as well as the rays potential as a brooder.
Potential - 10
This score is given to each ray based on its individual potential to become more beautiful. We base this score slightly on genetics, but also take into consideration the individual growth and progression of the ray since birth, the development of the spots size and color, the base color of the ray, and any potential for future spot growth and pattern changes.

This ray is from a world famous Taiwan Breeder. He has over 20 years of experience with ray breeding, and has developed his own unique blood line. This breeder specialises in rays with albino and leucistic blood, and is one of only a few breeders globally with line pattern black diamond rays.
